The Equality Court has ruled in favour of the Economic Freedom Fighters in the hate speech case brought by the lobby group Afriforum.

This as Afriforum attempted to link a struggle song to the rise of farm killings in the country.

The song branded, “Kiss the boer, kiss the farmer” has been at the centre of the battle between the two parties.

In the period between 2016 and 2019 during rallies, EFF members including Julius Malema also used the struggle song  Dubul’ ibhunu which translates to “Shoot the Boer” in English.
