Limpopo Health MEC and Provincial ANC official Dr Phophi Ramathuba has been praised by South Africans after her interaction with a Zimbabwean patient.

The interaction happened in a hospital in Bela-Bela, Limpopo Province. Ramathuba told the patient that resources meant for locals were being diverted to foreign nationals.

She said that was angering the locals as they struggle to get the medical care meant for them.

Ramathuba added that the budget from the National treasurer was meant for the local population and it becomes inadequate if foreign nationals are using the local facilities.
