Patrick Shai: Wife Says He Could Be Alive if Not for the Video Challenging Cassper Nyovest

Actor Patrick Shai committed suicide in January 2022. His death came after he made a video challenging Cassper Nyovest for a boxing match.

In the video he called the rapper Cassper Nyovest “a son of a b-itch”. The actor was bashed on social media for using derogatory language.

His wife Mmasechaba Shai revealed in an interview that her husband could be alive had it not been for the video in which he called Cassper Nyovest using derogatory language.

A lot of hurtful things were said about Patrick Shai on Twitter. His widow Masechaba said some of the things said were false and that hurt him deeply.

When Shai died music entrepreneur Nhlamulo Nota Baloyi accused Cassper Nyovest and his fans of contributing in Shai’s passing.
