The leader of ONE SA Mmusi Maimane was robbed at gunpoint at a bar in Cape Town on the 3rd of August 2022.
The incident happened while he was with his brother In-law who was visiting from overseas. He detailed the encounter on his Instagram page.
Maimane revealed that three gunmen came into the bar and pulled out guns and forced everyone down before robbing all the tables.
The former DA leader said crime in South Africa was now out of control, as he gave references of all the shootings and people killed at taverns.
He said citizens were living in fear even of doing basic things like going to the shops or a petrol station.
He added that the change in government in 2024 will go a long way in eradicating crime in the country. Below is what he posted on his Instagram page.
