KwaZuluNatal Premier Sihle Zikalala has resigned. This was expected because Zikalala  was not elected in the top five KZN positions at the recently held ANC KZN conference.

Zikalala lost the position of the ANC Provincial chairperson to Siboniso Duma. He also failed to make it into the PEC that was elected last month.

Nomusa Dube-Ncube, Amanda Bani and Mbali Frazer were picked and their names submitted for the race to replace Zikalala.

The news was reported by ENCA NEWS.
