One of the three accused in the Hillary Gardee murder case was denied bail.
Sipho Mkhatshwa was denied bail because he poses as a threat to state witnesses. The other two accused withdrew their bail applications.
Mkhatshwa who is the accused number one stood before the Nelspruit Magistrate’s Court today morning.
He allegedly threatened to kill a state witness. The judge denied him bail because he failed to state that he has relatives in Eswatini.
Hillary Gardee was murdered execution style more than two months ago. She was the daughter of former Economic Freedom Fighters Party Secretary General Godrich Gardee.
