Bheki Cele Says Krugersdorp Gang Rapes Were Staged

Last week news broke out that atleast eight women were gang r_aped near a mine dump in Krugersdorp.

The women were part of a film crew shooting at the mine dump. Cele told Newzroom Afrika that as Police they visited the victims and their families.

He revealed that investigations are still underway. However he said at this present moment it looks like the gang rapes were staged.

Cele added that out of the twelve women at the shoot, only eight were r_aped. He said it’s difficult to find out why it happened that way where four women were not abused.

He revealed that those who got r_aped were of African descent (black) while those who were left were of other demographics (race).
