Sunday World reports that the wife of popular businessman and motivational speaker, Vusi Thembekwayo, has filed for divorce.
The newspaper reports that Palesa Mahloko Thembekwayo ( Nee Makhetha), accused Thembekwayo of cheating on her several times.
The two were married in 2019 and have been together for over 13 years.
The marriage broke down in December 2021 when Palesa accused Thembekwayo of assaulting her at their home in Fourways when he returned from a trip from Dubai unexpectedly.
Thembekwayo appeared in court over the assault charge at the Randburg Magistrates court.
Friends told The newspaper that Palesa has been staying in Glen Austin since the assault in spite of family interventions.
