Prince Mbonisi Zulu’s application to stop the coronation of King Misuzulu KaZwelithini was dismissed by the North Gauteng High Court in Pretoria.
Mbonisi who is the brother of late King Goodwill Zwelithini maintains that Prince Misuzulu Zulu’s recognition as King was not done correctly.
Mbonisi Zulu is leading a faction of some of the royal family members who are opposed to Misuzulu’s ascendancy to the throne.
The Zulu Traditional Prime Minister Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi filed his court papers in support of the latter.
Buthelezi has been supporting Misuzulu since he took over the throne. He reminded Mbonisi and his faction that they will always fail.
Misuzulu became the King of AmaZulu Nation following the passing of the Zulu Monarch King Goodwill Zwelithini and Queen Mantfombi Dlamini Zulu.
