Popular male model and Mr SA contestant , Sinethemba Dleke, is on the run after defrauding investors in his stokvel linked to his farm SD FarmLink.
Police in Mpumalanga confirmed that two cases have been opened by investors in 20 July 2022. They are however, failing to locate Dleke.
Investments
Under the stokvel, Dleke asked investors to pay amounts ranging from R25 000 to R600 000 a year in return for interest and share of profits at his livestock and fresh produce farms.
Investors had a choice of three different portfolios with an annual fee of R500 on top of the investment contributions.
Early Investors
While early investors who joined in 2020 received their interests and share of profits. The early investors then reffered family and friends.
Frozen bank accounts
In May 2022, Dleke sent out communication to say that the Stokvel’s bank accounts had been frozen.
Members who posted on Facebook complained that Dleke has blocked them on his cellphones and he has turned off comments on his social media.
Rethabile Ramaota wrote on Facebook:

This is another huge rosey scam. Six months down the line. He won’t even send back my initial transfer R3300 sekegcina his supposed profit, that I’m meant to receive from “investing” in his company. I’m still going to post a thread when I have time. He no longer even responds to my texts after a few empty promises that my money will be sent. I mean I don’t even want his money no more.
My judgement failed me this time, It looks pretty legit doesn’t it. Ask yourself why comments are even switched off on his current posts. Cuz yep I’m not alone. So take my advice and distance yourself from this page.
Definitely not leaving it at this review. No legit business account gets frozen only those under investigation due to certain complaints.❤️ I’ll post screenshots on my pages and many other platforms soon.
