ENCA NEWS reported, the African National Congress (ANC) is remembering its former Deputy Secretary General Jessie Duarte.
The Party is holding a memorial service for the late DSG Duarte today at the Johannesburg City Hall.
Jessie Duarte passed away over the weekend after battling cancer. She was laid to rest at the Westpark Cemetery in Johannesburg.
ANC comrades including deputy President David Mabuza attended the memorial. Former President Thabo Mbeki is expected to deliver a tribute.
