ANC comrades gathered today in Johannesburg to pay their last respects to the late ANC Deputy Secretary General Jessie Duarte.
Jessie Duarte passed away this morning after battling cancer. Suspended ANC Secretary General Ace Magashule was amongst the mourners.
President Cyril Ramaphosa also had a chance to meet Magashule. Magashule and Ramaphosa have not been seeing eye to eye.
Magashule’s stance against the Ramaphosa faction and his support for Zuma led to his suspension.

The two met, they were greeting and laughing together. Carl Niehaus was also seen at the service.
