Advocate Malesela Teffo who was representing accused one to four in the Senzo Meyiwa trial told the Pretoria High Court yesterday that he was quitting.

Teffo told the Court that he was tired of being threatened by the authorities ranging from the state, police, and the National Prosecuting Authority.

He revealed that his arrest on the 28th of May was hatched in the President’s office. The Meyiwa family has reacted to the new developments.

Meyiwa’s brother Sfiso Meyiwa said the family is not shaken by Teffo’s actions. He said he understands Teffo because he, himself was also threatened at one point.
