Last Victim of Enyobeni Tavern Laid To Rest

Devastated and distraught families are still picking up the pieces following the deaths of their loved ones.

SABC NEWS reported that 16 year old Aziziphozilindile was the last Enyobeni tavern victim to be laid to rest yesterday.

The symbolic mass funeral of 21 teenagers who lost their lives at Enyobeni tavern in East London has been  met with criticism by some people.

They argued that it was a publicity stunt and an effort to spend tax payers’ money.

They said the idea of bringing empty coffins to the service was not a well thought idea as it worsened the pain of the bereaved families.
