ENCA NEWS reported that a new global study revealed that prolonged sitting can kill a human being. Prolonged sitting leads to a lot of life threatening diseases.

The study revealed that such cases are prevalent in middle and low income countries. Pamela Naidoo of the Heart and Stroke Foundation said the findings are correct.

She said physical inactivity and diet were the major factors of unhealthy lifestyles. Naidoo said the combination of salt, sugar and fats is a huge risk to health.
