SABC NEWS reported that the healing process has begun for the families and survivors of the Enyobeni Tavern tragedy.

The youngest amongst the 21 victims was only 13 years old. Those left behind have also started receiving counselling.

“I’m coming back mama”, these were the last words the 13 year old boy Thembinkosi Silwane uttered to his mother before going to Enyobeni Tavern.

His mother told the media that just like other children, he made mistakes. One body remains unidentified as causes of the deaths are still being investigated.
