Mbuso Thabethe, the husband of former Top Billing presenter, Sarah Ngubeni, is crying foul after he was blacklisted by a tiling company, Limegreen sourcing solutions.
In 2018, Thabethe entered into an R1,589 512.35 agreement for Limegreen to tile their home.
Thabethe paid R500 000 deposit, with the rest of the money to be paid in two installments of R774 000.
Limegreen ordered the tiles and the demanded payment off the balance before the house was ready for tiling, at which point Thabethe refused to pay the balance.
Limegreen had Thabethe blacklisted.
Thabethe has opened a defamation case against Limegreen and wants a full refund of his deposit and for the agreement to be canceled.
