Vusi Vilakazi and Mabhuti Khenyeza have been appointed as co-coaches for Golden Arrows ahead of the next season.

Golden Arrows chairwoman Mayo Madlala made the appointment following the departure of coach Lehlohonolo Seema in April.

Vilakazi and Khenyeza were serving as caretaker coaches since Seema’s departure.

Lehlohonolo Seema was booted out following Golden Arrows’ 6-0 defeat at the hands of Mamelodi Sundowns in April. This was the club’s biggest defeat in the PSL era.

While acting as caretaker coaches Vilakazi and Khenyeza won two, drew two, and lost one match on the past six matches they played. The club finished 9th in the DStv Premiership.

Khenyeza joined Arrows during the 2014-15 season. He became one of the top goal scorers for Arrows in the GladAfrica Championship.

Vilakazi on the other hand helped Golden Arrows reserve side win two DStv Diski Challenge trophies with most of those players now playing for the senior team.
