Six Naked Church Members Get Bail in Rustenburg

Three men and three women appeared before the Rustenburg Magistrates court on Monday 13 June for contravening the S_exual Offences Act and crimen injuria.

The six were granted R2 000 bail each and they will be appearing in Court again on 18 August 2022.

The offenders were arrested at a house used as a church in Sondela Phase 1, Rustenburg on 3 June 2022. They were all naked at the time of the arrest.

Their 34 year old female pastor was the only one dressed. The six revealed that it was their pastor who instructed them to strip off their clothes.

Eleven children, six boys and five girls aged between four and 12 were removed from the house and they are now under the care of social workers.
