The boxing fraternity and the country at large are mourning the tragic death of boxer Simiso Buthelezi.

The boxer collapsed during his WBF All Africa  Lightweight bout against Siphesihle Mntungwa.

He died after suffering bleeding on the brain and being placed in an induced coma.

Eric Sithole, who is the Acting CEO of Boxing SA told ENCA NEWS that the family is still devastated with the passing of Simiso.

Buthelezi was described as a disciplined man who had recently graduated. He had also built a beautiful home for his mother.

May his soul rest in eternal peace, our deepest condolences to his family and friends.
