ENCA NEWS reported that the Namibian President has denied any links to the robbery that took place at President Cyril Ramaphosa’s game park and farm in Limpopo.
Police intelligence report pointed out that there were discussions between the Namibian President Hage Geingob and President Cyril Ramaphosa.
The robbery took place two years ago and the matter was never reported to the police. It is alleged that five Namibians stole millions of cash stashed at Ramaphosa’s farm.
It is believed the mastermind of the robbery was tracked down in June 2020 and was captured in the Namibian Capital, Windhoek.
The Namibian President is not happy that he is now being drawn into the fray. The Namibians are saying the suspect was a South African who crossed into their country illegally.
The Namibian Presidential Press Secretary, Alfredo Hengari told the media that President Hage Geingob is a champion of the rule of law.
Hengari said there was no point in time when the Namibian President assisted President Cyril Ramaphosa in concealing the crime or arresting people who committed crimes in South Africa.
