Sowetan newspaper reported that a delay in the release of DNA and Ballistic results was delaying bail application plans of the two men accused of killing Hillary Gardee.

The accused, Philemon Lukhele and Albert Gama were expected to join the third accused Sipho Mkhatshwa in applying for bail after they had not initially applied for it.

Advocate Ntsika Mpolweni asked the Nelspruit Magistrate’s Court to postpone the matter to July 22 as they were waiting for DNA and Ballistic results.

Mpolweni also said they wanted cellphone records which they were going to use to oppose the application.
