Amaphara rob amadlozi after families, residents leave money on their loved one’s grave and disappears after some time.

Families say they leave coins(offering) on graves as sign on thanking or giving back to the ancestors.

One resident of Nyanga, Cape Town said they now have to hide the coins, burn imphepho and hide the money under the ashes.

Sangoma Lonwabo Mqungwana said when these boys take the money they bring curse on themselves.
