Video: 36 Leondale High School Pupils Smoking Marijuana

Concerns are rising over the growing use of drugs in schools.

This comes after a video of 36 Leondale High school pupils smoking marijuana at school went viral.

Marijuana is considered dangerous because it is a gateway for the use of harder substances.

Concerned Young People’s Forum’s Michael Mayalo told the media that marijuana is a weapon that has destroyed the lives of young people.

He said marijuana is not only abused in schools but it is also found in many societies.

Mayalo revealed that atleast 47 percent of learners at schools were involved in use of marijuana.

The 36 pupils from Leondale High school are now facing disciplinary hearing for smoking marijuana at school.
