A man was killed in Diepsloot in a mob justice attack. This was after locals went on a hunt for foreign nationals.
The victim has been identified as Elvis Nyathi from Zimbabwean. Protests erupted in Johannesburg’s Diepsloot township.
Anti migrants activists escalated the attacks as they started demanding passports. Elvis’ wife said people banged their door asking for passports.
Operation Dudula leader Nhlanhla Lux joined the march in Diepsloot on Wednesday.
