Last week on the 31st of March former President Jacob Zuma appeared before the Pietmaritzburg High Court for his corruption case.

The Supreme Court of Appeal however rejected Zuma’s bid to have the state Prosecutor Billy Downer removed from the case.

The former head of state is facing more thanĀ  700 counts of fraud, money laundering and corruption charges.

Zuma however has vowed to fight back stating that his legal team will be in the Pietmaritzburg High Court on 11 April 2022 to ensure that Zuma gets a fair trial.
