The gun of world famous South African Ndebele artist, Esther Mahlangu (87), was stolen during a house robbery that has shocked South African.

Esther Mahlangu ‘s decorated gun was stolen.

The robbery occurred at her homestead in Mthambothini near Siyabuswa village. A lone robber grabbed her and strangled her from behind until she passed out.

The gun, a 7.65mm Old David’s and its licence, were in a safe that was stolen during the robbery.

Esther has appealed for the South African government to provide security at her popular decorated home.

Esther said she is thinking of buying another gun to replace the stolen one.
