Interpol Issues Red Notices For Gupta Brothers

Interpol has issued a red notice for the Gupta brothers, Ajay and Atul. The Gupta family is at the centre of serious allegations of corruption in South Africa.

It was previously reported that they used their proximity to former President Jacob Zuma to unlawfully obtain a string of lucrative state contracts during his term in office.

Their deeds have been described as a looting exercise aimed at enriching themselves at the expense of the country.

The brothers fled South Africa in 2018, however a red notice by interpol means law enforcement officers are looking for the Guptas anywhere in the world and, they can be arrested when found.
