The police have opened an inquest regarding Rikhado Makhado’s passing. Riky Rick’s funeral was held today in Johannesburg.
The hip-hop musician passed away on the 23rd of February, he committed suicide. He was found hanging by his management team.
The 34 year old star passed away enroute to the hospital. It is alleged that he suffered from depression and a day after his death a suicide note was leaked.
Police confirmed on 28 February that an inquest into circumstances surrounding his passing had been opened.

SAPS captain Mavela Masondo, did not confirm nor deny that Riky Rick committed suicide. However Masondo confirmed that an inquest had been opened.
