Nthabiseng Dlamini, the head of law firm, Dlamini incorporated, is suing Ernst & Young at the Joburg High Court for R10 million, over the termination of the firm’s advisory role in a R95 million Transnet project.

Sunday World reports that EY appointed Dlamini incorporated, who was the BBEE partner and international law firm Covington and Burling as legal advisors.

However, the two firms immediately clashed, with Dlamini pointing out that Covington and Burling were not taking them seriously.

Ernst & Young subsequently terminated Dlamini ‘s mandate.

EY was awarded B-BBBEE points for partnering with the applicant, Dlamini said in their court papers.
