R4 Million Heist Suspect Bathobile Mlangeni Abandons Bail Application

eNCA News reported that the Woman who allegedly stole R4 million from the SBV’s cash depo at the Mall of Africa in Midrand, Gauteng, abandoned her bail application.

This was Bathobile Mlangeni’s third appearance in Court since she was arrested. She has been on the run since 2019.

The ex-security guard allegedly planned and strolled out of the Mall of Africa with R4 million in 2019. Bathobile Mlangeni will remain in custody.

The accused was arrested earlier this month, two years after the incident. Her case was moved to a regional court.
