On Saturday the Zulu King, Misuzulu Zulu KaZwelithini made his inaugural speech at Isandlwana memorial in Nquthu.
His speech showed mental wisdom, growth and humility. The King has been accused of being controlled by the Zulu Traditional Prime minister Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi.
Misuzulu’s speech came after the court rejected an application request by some of the Royal family members that he should not speak at the Isandlwana war memorial event.
The King said the support of the Zulu nation and Amabutho gives him courage and the commitment to lead the nation with integrity and honesty.
He went on to say that he is aware that whatever is happening in the Royal family is hurting the nation as the Monarch is the Zulu Nation’s platform.
