In the Zulu Royal battle, Queen Sibongile Dlamini Zulu has lost a court bid to ammend her court papers. Sibongile is the first wife of the late Zulu King.
The Queen wanted to ammend her court papers to ask for an order that the late King Goodwill Zwelithini kaBhekuzulu’s customary marriages to his other five wives be nullified.
Acting Judge President of KwaZuluNatal, Judge Isaac Madondo said Queen did not advance reasonable reasons to ammend her court papers.
The Queen wanted the court to recognise her civil marriage to King Goodwill Zwelithini and declare the other marriages invalid.
The Zulu Royal House has been embroiled in the succession battle ever since the passing of the King Zwelithini KaBhekuzulu and the Queen regent, Queen Mantfombi Dlamini Zulu.
