The Pietmaritzburg High Court dismissed the late AmaZulu King Zwelithini’s widow Queen Sibongile Dlamini Zulu’s application to ammend her founding affidavit.

Queen Sibongile Dlamini Zulu and her two daughters, Princesses Ntandoyenkosi Zulu and Ntombizosuthu Zulu are challenging the validity of the late King’s Will.

The Queen’s legal team told the Court that Zwelithini was procluded from marrying other Queens.

Handing out his judgment for the amendment of her affidavit, Judge Isaac Madondo said that the applicant had not indicated that she might ammend the document.

He further said that allowing an ammendment will have far reaching consequences even for the children of the other widows.

The Queen is asking the Court to assert her right to half of the late King’s estate based on their civil marriage.
