#Parliament Fire: Zandile Mafe Charged With Terrorism

Parliament arsonist Zandile Mafe has been charged with terrorism. Zandile Mafe is being accused of breaking into Parliament building  in Cape Town.

It is alleged that he stole laptops, crokery and documents before setting the building on fire. He is also facing two counts of arson, possession of an explosive device and destruction of an important building.

Advocate Dali Mpofu who is representing the accused said Mafe will go on hunger strike until his bail application is heard.

According to Advocate Dali Mpofu, Mafe said he does not understand why the state wants to feed him now when they couldn’t do it while he was living on the streets.
