Actress and Dj Thuli Phongolo’s journey as Lerato on popular Showmax series The Wife has come to an end after the termination of her contract.
Stain Glass spokesperson Nomfundo Zondi confirmed that the company and the actress mutually decided to write off her character.
Thuli Phongolo’s last appearance on the show will be on the 13th of January.
The mutual agreement to part ways came due to schedule clashes. Thuli was not arriving on set on time and at times she could not come at all.
