There has been a lot of drama between Babes Wodumo and Mampintsha’s mother Zama Gumede. Mampintsha’s mother revealed that she was not invited to Babes and Mampintsha’s wedding.
She also made accusations that Babes Wodumo was faking her pregnancy. Babes Wodumo hit back a few days ago and threatened to beat her mother in-law. She even labelled her as a pr@s_titute.
It seems like there will never be peace between Babes Wodumo and Mampintsha’s family. Mampintsha’s sister Pinki Gumede revealed that her family was distancing itself from Babes Wodumo.
She said the family has rejected the Wololo hit maker as their makoti but Mampintsha’s girlfriend. Pinki mentioned that Babes Wodumo failed to bring umembeso which is part of the tradition between the bride and the groom’s family.
She added that they tried to reason and reach out to Babes Wodumo but she was not interested. Thus the family said for such reasons they will never put cow gall (inyongo) on her.
Mampintsha’s mother Zama Gumede told the media that she wants nothing to do with Babes Wodumo. This because the songstress said her religion does not allow her to perform traditional Zulu ceremonies.
