The late Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa was shot and killed at the age of 30 in an alleged robbery on 26 October 2014.
He was shot at his girlfriend songstress Kelly Khumalo’s house in Vosloorus. The goalkeeper was pronounced dead on arrival at a Johannesburg hospital.
Several people have appeared in court over the past seven years. Kelly Khumalo is believed to have been involved in the murder of Senzo Meyiwa.
In October last year five men were charged with the murder of Senzo Meyiwa. However the suspects said they were uninvolved in the killing. More details have emerged on Facebook.
