Veteran actress Themsie Times who played the popular role of Maria on SABC 3’s 7de Laan has passed away. The actress died at the age of 70.
Themsie passed away on Thursday the 9th of December 2021, this was confirmed by 7de Laan publicity manager Kayleen Bessit who told media houses.
The actress played the role of Maria for 13 years before exiting the show in 2016. Outside 7de Laan the actress featured on Yizo Yizo and made appearances on films such as Cry.
The actress was survived by three children and six grandchildren. Our deepest condolences to her family and friends. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
