Samukele Mkhize became a fan favorite after playing the role of Mabuyi on the now canned Mzansi Magic telenovela Isibaya.
Isibaya was replaced by a new show called DiepCity and ever since then the actress has been off the television screens.
There is some good news as the actress is set to make her return to television. Samukele Mkhize has joined SABC 1 show Skeem Saam.
She will play the role of Khwezi, a hustler from KwaZuluNatal who studied nursing but has dreams of becoming a successful entrepreneur.
