EFF leader Julius Malema was embraced by AbaThembu King Buyelekhaya Dalindyebo as he arrived at the Nkululekweni residence in Mthatha today.
The party was expected to hand over a Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe SUV worth more than R1.8 million to the king.
Malema first made the promise to gift Dalindyebo with a brand new Mercedes-Benz SUV in October during a campaign rally in Mthatha.
At the time, the king called on his subjects to vote for the EFF in last week’s local government elections.

It was revealed that EFF was gifting the car to Dalindyebo to make it easy for him to travel around and interact with his subjects.
Adding, it was also explained that Dalindyebo should use the Mercedes-Benz to serve his people.
