Lawrence Masinge from Saulsville in Tshwane was shot dead while doing a live gym lesson on Zoom on the 10th of November 2021.
Masinge was shot 15 times leaving his family with questions and wondering as to what really happened. Only the deceased’s cellphone was stolen from the house.
However it is clear that the killer’s intention was to leave Masinge dead. The deceased’s brother told Daily Sun that the killer jumped over the wall to access the house.
The sister revealed that no gunshots were heard but they became suspicious after seeing a man holding a gun escaping. When they arrived in his room they found him in a pool of blood with multiple gun wounds all over his body.
Masinge’s daughter told the publication that her dad had told her that he was being followed. She said the trend had been going on since last year.
Lieutenant Colonel Mavela Masondo, the Gauteng police spokesperson said a murder case is being investigated.
