Iconic musician Robbie Malinga would have turned 53 years old this month. In honour of her late husband, Robbie Malinga’s widow Ann launched a tribute book in his remembrance.

The launch was in Rosebank, North of Johannesburg and it was attended by Robbie Malinga’s industry associates, family and friends.

They all gathered at Universal Music offices where Malinga worked as a manager. The book titled Robbie Malinga gives an insight into Robbie Malinga’s life and the lives of his loved ones.

Robbie passed away in 2017 from pancreatic cancer. The book tells Malinga’s story from his birth until his last days where he was suffering from cancer.

Some features of the book include a letter which Robbie wrote to his sister Zanokuhle who was only two years old when their father passed away.

In the book there are tributes from artists who include Yvonne Chaka Chaka, Thuso Motaung, Loyiso Mangena and more.
