Former police officer Rosemary Ndlovu on Friday was sentenced to life imprisonment by Judge Ramarumo Monama for the murder of her six close family members.

She turned around before leaving the court and told witnesses who testified against her that she will be back for them. This was after she made a sorry face and cried for the loss of her relatives.

She looked at the witnesses, her relatives in the gallery at the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court that she will spend the Christmas behind bars but she is going to be back and deal with them.

Wearing her usual dress she often wore on several appearances in court, Rosemary Ndlovu stormed out of the courtroom paying no attention to the media that had caught her threats on camera.

Monama said Ndlovu had soiled the police uniform and tainted the image of her colleagues.

The judge said Ndlovu was a danger to society and that it was befitting for her ito be kept at a maximum correctional facility. Ndlovu claimed over R1.4 million from the insurance payouts.
