Popular actors Muzi Mthabela and Phindile Gwala are reported to be exiting Imbewu: The Seed. Muzi Mthabela plays the role of Menzi while Phindile plays the role of Fikile on the show.
City Press reported that Muzi Mthabela asked to be excused from the Durban based e.tv drama series while Phindile Gwala was allegedly dropped by the production.

As for the former Muvhango actress, Phindile Gwala’s role is being dropped because the producers are saying she is exhibiting weak acting skills.
