She passed away in 2006 on the 23rd of October at the age of 29, leaving behind an unforgettable legacy.
Lebo started her career as a member of Kwaito group Boom Shaka in 1993 after catching the eye of music producer Don at a Johannesburg night club.
She was one of their brightest stars and she soon began to stand out with her bubbly personality and outgoing nature.
 

Boom Shaka released their first album, About Time, in 1994 and it was a runaway success.

After three successful albums as a band, Lebo pursued a solo career.
