Rapper Boity Thulo has asked for radio host Bujy Bikwa to pay R1 million as part of a settlement agreement relating to an assault charge she laid against him after an altercation.

City Press has reported that the legal representatives for both Boity and Bujy are in negotiations to resolve the matter between the two media personalities.

This comes after Boity had opened an assult charge against Bikwa, he also opened counter charges against her.

All this happened after the two got involved in a physical altercation at an event at the Courtyard Hotel in Midrand. Bujy threw a glass on Boity’s face leaving her with scars which needed surgery.

The Sangoma is alleged to be also asking for R200 000 which she used for her surgery and other hospital bills. Boity wants R1 million which she says is for the income she lost due to her injuries.

The rapper had to undergo a surgery to correct her face. Bujy also said he lost income as he had to spend a week behind bars at Johannesburg Correctional Centre before being released on R2000 bail.

According to the National Prosecuting Authority spokesperson, Phindi Mjonondwane, the case was postponed to 29 November 2021, while investigations are conducted.

It is believed that Bujy Bikwa acted in self-defense after Boity Thulo swore at him and kicked him while attacking guests at the event.
