Al Ahly head coach Pitso Mosimane could be leaving the club due to complications in his new contract negotiations.
Mosimane is regarded very highly by the Reds’ fans and colleagues including Percy Tau.
It was previously reported that Al Ahly are currently in talks for a new contract for the South African head coach after instructions from club president Mahmoud El-Khatib.
It has been said that El-Khatib is impressed with the South African despite the club struggling on the domestic scene as the club legend is a believer in the coach’s project.
However, the talks aren’t going smoothly according to iDiski, as Pitso and his camp want a “protection clause” inserted in the new contract.
This left the contract talks between both parties to reach a stalemate last week.
