SABC News reported that, Economic Freedom Fighters president Julius Malema has vowed to revitalize Mahikeng if his party EFF wins the upcoming local government election.
Julius Malema was on a campaign trail in Nortth West Province. Malema asked voters to give EFF a chance to turn Mahikeng upside down.
He said if his party wins the whole of Mahikeng would become a construction site and the City will go back to its former glory.
In his speech Malema said the African National Congress (ANC) has failed the whole of North West. He said all municipalities in the province were being run down by ANC.
The Elections will be held on 1 November 2021, to elect councils for all district, metropolitan and local municipalities in each of the nine provinces of South Africa.
