The Zulu King, King Misuzulu kaZwelithini failed to read a speech due to poor health. Someone had to read the speech on behalf of the king at an event held North of Durban.
The King who was recently hospitalised attended the event because of its importance. In his speech the King called for national unity and for people to follow in the footsteps of King Shaka.
He urged the Zulu people to unite as the Zulu nation. He mentioned the strong relationship between Dingiswayo and King Shaka.
It was recently reported that King Misuzulu was poisoned. The King’s mother Queen Mantfombi Dlamini died due to poisoning.
There is an ongoing battle in the royal family over who should take over the throne following the passing away of King Zwelithini and the Queen regent.
